They tell me to come back when I can live in my house (sounds crazy when there is 5 years of war here).

CSGO Empire's customer service is very unprofessional. When there is a system error and they receive a complaint from a customer, they show no concern and have a very rude, disrespectful attitude in their responses.
You can go ahead and try out this website, as it has a high money-laundering capability and also offers many interesting services. However, if you encounter any system errors or any issues that require you to file a complaint, you will receive very poor responses from their customer service.
If this website wants to develop further, it needs a professional customer support team that knows how to handle situations, or at the very least, is polite when communicating with customers.

I live in the same house as my friend
I live in the same house as my friend, and I used my friend's referral code when creating my account. We each have our own separate account, and my friend simply let me play on my own account.
However, CSGOEmpire removed all of the referral rewards from both my account and my friend's account.
That seems quite strange to me. As I understand it, **self-referral** means one person creating multiple accounts to refer themselves. In our case, these are two different people with two separate accounts who just happen to share the same IP because we live together.
I wasn't trying to abuse the referral system or exploit anything. I just wanted to earn a little bit of extra money through my friend's referral code. It feels unfair that both of us lost all of our referral rewards simply because we live in the same house.
Could you please explain why our referral rewards were removed?

Without offering too much information that would give away our detection methods, we do not rely only on IP to determine whether accounts are connected. If we did, we'd have thousands of false flags with people sharing the same VPN providers, etc.
If a decision was made to block your referral rewards, we're satisfied that there's enough evidence to conclude the same person has used both accounts. Therefore, referral rewards will remain blocked.

Generally, KYC issues are dealt with quite quickly, but they could be prolonged depending on your specific issue. Remember that CS withdrawals remain open regardless of your KYC status, so you can always take your funds out.

We take abuse, or attempts at abuse, very seriously, and we don't allow people to abuse Steam's trade reversal feature. This is made quite clear when trading on Empire.
We can remove account restrictions based on the circumstances, but this isn't offered to actual abusers who try to scam the system.
