Called in for a coffee stop and food en route to South Wales. We used the outside section
Fish and chips were on the menu and chosen.
Wrongly named imo as the “fish” were goujons and resembled inedible, rubbery parts in batter. Returned the meal to the counter, explained then left.

I drove to my daughters to recieve a parcel for Delivery 20th July.....Sat for the stated hour in her house to receive a text..."sorry we missed you, we will try to deliver again tomorrow". NO body arrived that day, knocked on the front door , left a card or pulled up in a van.
Next day drive back to my daughters for second delivery (10 mile return).... Sat with both doors open to the Road for the obligatory hour, again the hour expired followed by the rather annoying text repeat "sorry we missed you"
Not a single DPD van entered the street during this hour "slot"
Now a chat line saying you cant collect from the depot 12 miles away and Delivery will now be next Monday. Usually a good service, but this fiasco has changed my vision of them somewhat.
Another Update 24/7/23
Another promised delivery between 0915 and 1015.
Seated in the doorway just 20ft from the road up comes DPD delvery van to the junction I step outside and it turns right and disappears up the hill. And the obligatory Sorry we missed you pops up later......Utter shambles or theft of the Parcel??

A customer for many years and will never change. First class service, backup and very competititve prices.
Forget all the big players, the best service always comes from a more personal smaller sized company.
No real waiting time when calling and 100% resolution from the best supplier in the UK in my opinion.

No brainer!!, Paypal, Tracked, Customs paid. Great savings. Wish they sold more kit!!
