Beginning sounded good and promising

Beginning sounded good and promising. If you choose to go for any cheaper options, you get a reply once a month,at this point I have been waiting 6 weeks for a reply to get a update on the website... this started 9 months ago and no end or reply in sight.

Shutter does not fully open!

Shutter does not fully open!! Gave correct measurements, emailed the company, they advised to stuff all sorts, to support the brackets, to lift the shutter, this did not work, I was told they are made to measure so could not return them. Spent over £120 on shutter that does not fit. After an exchange of emails I obviously was angry at this point, throwing my money in the bin, I was told I was aggressive and have a attitude. They said I gave wrong measurements and there is 1mm difference!!!!!!!!! This 1mm makes no difference, after stuffing cardboard to make up 1mm!!!! but its a easy way to fob off and blame the customer! AVOID!

Hi Katarzyna,

Thank you for your review. As explained over email, the shutter does not operate properly as your beading depth is not suitable for Perfect Fit Shutters. Perfect Fit Shutters are suitable for beading depths of 18-30mm and these options are available when ordering. You confirmed to us over email that your beading depth is 17mm, Perfect Fit Shutters are not suitable for beading depths of 17mm otherwise this option would be available when ordering.

You did not contact us before ordering, to check if your beading depth of 17mm would be suitable. You also did not order a Perfect Fit Shutter Kit to test the brackets on your windows before ordering, which is advised on our website.

You are correct, these are a made-to-measure product and therefore are non-refundable.

As the brackets are too big, they are bowing with the weight of the shutter meaning they are not fitting or operating as they should. We have offered muultiple solutions to help, including putting something under the bracket e.g. cardboard or wood to stop the bowing and therefore allow the shutter to operate (given the design, this would not be visible as it would be sat behind the shutter and bracket), but you were not happy with this solution.

We have also offered to come out ourselves or send an independent company to professionally measure your windows and beading depth however you failed to respond to this and we have had no communication from you in nearly 8 weeks.

I can see in most cases we responded to your emails the same day, sometimes this was longer i.e. over a weekend when we are closed, but we never deliberately took 3 days to respond to you - I am sorry you feel this way. We are a small family run business and we do have to speak with other team members when presented with issues like this; just to ensure we understand the problem fully.

Kind regards,
Ellie

Could not find the option for 0…

Could not find the option for 0 stars!!!
I purchased a tablet for my 10 year old son along with D&G insurance I was offered at argos. After a few days the tablet was dropped, the side slightly came out, I did not want to fix it myself as I had a insurance cover FOR ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE in place. After 4 calls I received a reply saying they scrapped the tablet as un repairable and cancelled my policy! I paid £140 for the tablet, they deducted their insurance of £72 and sent me vouchers for £68! so now I have got £68 of vouchers that cannot buy me another tablet, and a broken tablet that im paying off for the next 6 months to argos. so basically I just put money in their pocket. The insurance covers are rubbish, all come with T&C to benefit them, never a customer. DO NOT TAKE OUT ANY INSURANCE WITH THEM AS YOU ARE BASICALLY COVERED FOR NOTHING!!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!!

Hand luggage nuisance

I was on your flight from Doncaster to Lublin on 4 april
The hand luggage did not fit into your measuring stand as the rubber zips on the side were preventing it from slipping in, the staff was happy for us to continue as they saw the issue was only the zip and not the size of the hand luggage.
On the way back from Lublin to Doncaster on 18 april, a lady did not allow this to happen, she was rude, unprofessional and chewing gum! I asked for her name, which she refused to give it to me and said she was not obligated to give her name out, she only gave me her so called staff number 648 which she corrected and changed, so I’m not sure she was even telling the truth. We explained we had the same issue going out and nobody had a problem with it. She was adamant we pay for 2 suitcases which were the same size and did not fit. She didn’t bother checking the rest of the passenger’s hand luggage, in which case, I saw was way oversized and much bigger than mine! There was 3 of us travelling, 1 suitcase was bigger and manged to fit into the measuring stand as it was designed differently,
As we couldn’t afford to pay such high fees for 2 suitcases it was cheaper to buy a smaller bag in the airport shop and re pack, loose some of its content and we were forced to leave (throw away) 2 suit cases!
This is not the 1st time I have been flying with wizzair and have never had a issue the same suitcases, hence why I continued to travel with them when flying with wizzair
Why does staff have different rules in different countries?!?! or does it depends on the person serving you, on their mood maybe..?!
I was seeking compensation for my 2 suitcases. Complained and was told that I did not comply with their regulations as i was advised what size the suitcase should be prior to travelling... it was 1cm of a rubber zip that did not allow the hand luggage to slip into the measuring stand....
