Horrific Experience, Walk Away And Find a Reputable Company

I wish I had Read Mark Murphy Review below before dealing with this Company!

Do yourselves a Favour and walk on by and choose someone else, anyone else but this Company.

Had a Factoring account with No issues, All Invoices Submitted were paid and honoured within the required timescales. I even chased the last two invoices down to make sure this shower of rebribates were not financially out of pocket.

Due to entering a personal IVA (Which Apollo were advised about). I had no option but to cease trading. I left just under 7K in my Account just to make sure Apollo were not financially hit with any Non Payment of invoices. Once the invoices had cleared I sent an email to apollo to say I needed to close the account as I had ceased trading and they added 4.5k + VAT in charges and sent me a payment of just £1,117.52.

May not be illegal but it is immoral.
Do yourselves a favour and walk on by and choose someone else for your factoring service!

Having then gone to the Financial Ombudsmen it turns out they also are unable to help and I quote:

I’ve looked to review our jurisdictional remit and the provision of invoice factoring isn’t an activity covered by our service – which explains why Apollo Business Finance doesn’t fall within the remit of our service.

In short they are an Unregistered, Unregulated Business who can and do just what they want!

Merry Christmas You Old Apollo Business Finance

Review of Touch Financial

Horrific Experience Look Elsewhere

Be very wary and make sure you do your homework.

Do not fall for the "We are FCA regulated". Whilst Touch Financial may be FCA regulated, the Industry of Invoice Factoring is Unregulated. As such, if as I was, you are put in contact with an unregulated, Unregistered Company by Touch Financial there is no recourse or address.

When I submitted a complaint to Touch Financial I recieved: "We believe we have acted in accordance with our terms of business and on that basis, there is nothing further for us to do".

Having then gone to the Financial Ombudsmen it turns out they also are unable to help and I quote:

I’ve looked to review our jurisdictional remit and the provision of invoice factoring isn’t an activity covered by our service – which explains why ******* Finance doesn’t fall within the remit of our service (for information, ******* Finance also isn’t regulated so doesn’t fall within our remit).

So to clarify, Invoice Factoring and neither of the two companies I was put in contact with by Touch Financial are covered by the Ombudsman.
The company I went with were fine until the moment I told them (After the last two Invoices had been cleared and all monies had been paid) that I was wrapping the business. They decided to add over 5k of fees and deduct this from my last payment. A very underhanded way of doing business.

If you are looking at Invoice Factoring you already have cash flow issues. Do your research and understand the risks and make sure whoever you choose has your back if it goes wrong!

Review of Vodafone UK

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The most horrific company and…

The most horrific company and experience I have ever had. Having spent 4 1/2 hours on the phone today with Vodafone refusing to take ownership of a fault on a new iPhone 14 Pro Business phone. Their only solution even though I have rapid insurance is to collect the phone and leave me without a phone for 7 to 10 Business days. There insurance is a scam and the 4 hour callout and replace is only for phones outside of manufacturer warranty. So no need to pay the £10 a month then until your phone is out of warranty.

The customer service team is abysmal with no one wanting to take ownership and don't get me started on the voice activated phone lines Press 1 to be ignored and then give us your phone number then choose from 1 of 7 options and then we will disconnect your Call!

Never ever again will I use this Company! Use at your own peril safe in the knowledge that they simply do not Care!!!!!!!

Review of L&C Mortgages

Lack of Imagination

This is the 2nd time I have used LandC, the first was last year and although slow to respond (I put that down to the pandemic) we were successful in getting a First Time Mortgage.

This time and due to a job relocation I decided to approach LandC again. The experience this time was not as pleasurable and if i am honest it felt a struggle from the initial conversation onwards.

The Customer is always right, unless of course you have a judgemental Advisor who has no understanding of retirement age and the legal ramifications that a state retirement age no longer exists. Pushing me to except a 17year mortgage when I wanted to extend to 22 years as is my right as a consumer.

As a customer I expect to tell you what I want and you to go away and get it for me and provide me with the options I need. Not to spout some rubbish of your own personal views that have no bearing on what I want as a customer.

Having battered back and forth over several phone calls my Advisor Anthony finally came back with an option for me or so I thought. I had negotiated with the builder that they would pay my stamp duty. However after several days my advisor had to come back to me rather sheepishly and let me know he had missed read the requirement and the mortgage provider was not prepared to offer with this level of assistance.

He then went onto to ask could I not just pay the stamp duty myself? Kind of negates the deal I had sought out from the developer. At this point he pointed out that no one would give me the tenure of Mortgage I required and that I would have to review my finances and look for something cheaper.

Made the call to the developer to state that I would be backing out. They put me through to another broker and I have to say what a breath of fresh air. They listened, went away and came back with several potential providers at the 22years I was after within a couple of hours. 20 days from first call to Mortgage offer from the bank and happy to say we move in three weeks.

I will not use LandC again.

My advice to LandC, give your Advisors some Customer Experience training especially around mortgages into retirement and teach them to be civil and not judgemental. The job should not be easy all the time and when a customer throws a curveball you should want to pick up the challenge and not just run for the hills.

Hi Michael, I'm very sorry to hear this. From reading your comment it seems like you have decided not to proceed with L&C, but I have passed your comment on to the Customer Care team. Best wishes, L&C.

Simply Amazing

So After being let down by another well known Mortgage Broker with poor information and a shocking attitude. I had the unenviable task of ringing my developer and advising that we were going to have to pull out of our purchase. It was then I was put in contact with NHMH.

Must admit I did not hold out much hope and was expecting very little. My first call was with Karen Rozier who was brilliant and attentive. We went through the issues, of which she was sure Non of them were insurmountable. A couple of hours later and a call back and an appointment was scheduled with Clare Knox our Mortgage & Protection advisor.

Clare was brilliant and talked us through the proposal and was really helpful answering any questions we had. The application was submitted and Julia Vernon kept us in the loop throughout the application process giving us regular updates by phone and email.

All told from the first phone call to the Mortgage offer being received was 20 days! Developers like to stretch targets and it is nice to see a company who can hit these targets.
Anyone who who goes through this process understands how nerve wracking it can be. NHMH Clearly have staff who enjoy their roles and this is demonstrated in the passion and profesionalism they show their customers.

A simply Amazing time scale from an Amazing Team. We cannot thank you enough and would definately use again.

Just had an amazing install from Andy, Ollie, Chris & Ben. Two rooms, one day and a fantastic service. One little hiccup on the design but was picked up on site by Andy. Well spotted and a great work around provided. Couldn't rate highly enough!

Fantastic service

From initial enquiry, right up to the delivery of my new Jaguar the service was excellent. I was kept informed at every step along the very simple process. I seriously cannot recommend intelligent Car Leasing high enough!
Quick tip from me, do your reasearch find out the spec you require on your car and leave the rest up to the team.
