My husband and I were waiting for a package. We DID receive it. Apparently after trying to put it into the mailbox, the person delivering the package just dropped it outside our apartment door. The person DID NOT ring the doorbell (for the main door of the apartment building or our door) or knock on the door. WE HEARD a strange noise outside the door and checked to see what it was. An email WAS RECEIVED saying that the package was delivered.

... and that status is according to the US rules.

Otherwise, I JUST FILED and am waiting to hear back from the IRS via Expatfile re: accepting the paperwork.

Tip: Have your source documents ready, including but not limited to:
-- Last year's tax return
-- Dates for time spent in the States

The big draw for me was (and is) that all monetary amounts can be entered as your local currency. The USD amount is shown in grey below the entry field.

I am off to pay what I owe.

I sent a Christmas card on 19 December to the USA. I understood that it would be late for the holiday. It arrived on Thursday, February 5– much later than the two weeks I thought it would take.

I use the service because, not only are the instructions easy to follow, they do the currency conversion for you from the foreign currency you’re working with to US dollars. The star was deducted because I paid more in filing fees than actual taxes. According to the US system, I am “self-employed“.

I really haven’t had a chance to open the package yet, but it came when it said it was going to come.

Can’t really say. Haven’t gotten any gift yet.

Update: I did get the package and everything’s fine! Before I got it, I also got an email saying that they hadn’t forgotten about me which was nice.

Update, since I got an email asking for more information. I did finally get the package. I found the tracking number that I should’ve gotten originally from the third-party tracking site. It said it was down at the local pick up spot. Because I didn’t have the codes needed to pick up the package, I had to call customer service, who looked it up on the same third-party site And gave me the information to pick up the package. I shouldn’t have to have made the call to customer service.

I made the mistake of not Looking this company up on trustpilot first. The package via the tracking number they gave me was coming out of China, and apparently was given to a local carrier (DAO). The local carrier site does not recognize the tracking number I received. The original carrier says that the package delivery attempt was on a weekend, and was rerouted to pick up point. I’m still trying to track the Christmas present down. (The original ad was on Facebook.)

They deliver where and when you expect them to… unlike others which shall not be named. PN

Wonderful alternative, if you are sick of PostNord shenanigans.

I downloaded the app which worked without a hitch. The pick up spot (which PostNord no longer uses) is located in the local shopping center.

I finally pulled the trigger on a new medium (markers). Been using them with an adult coloring book that I got for Christmas 2021. Love them, but don’t forget to put something underneath if you don’t want the markers bleeding through a thin paper. they were in a suit we large box.

Returns are easy, though you do have to pay for shipping on the way back. They use bags to pack things, making it easier for someone in a wheelchair to carry home from the drop off point.

No issues whatsoever. Bring is my choice if I have one.

Import charges to receive Christmas presents from my mother = 192kr. I have, twice before, given the Postal Service proof of my US citizenship in the form of my passport picture. I will be calling tomorrow to talk to someone about this! I wouldn’t have a problem if they were just asking for 32 kroner to pay “Told” but the rest of it is completely uncalled for. My mother already paid to get it here before Christmas. I do not know what is in the package due to the fact that I did not order anything to be imported from the States. It’s a gift!

Shoelaces are hard to find in 120 cm. I’m in my 40s and wear child sized shoe. Customer service was awesome! Thank you so much!
