Regarding the Ricoh GR III Street Edition (Open Box), please note that Open Box (OB) items are customer returns that may show minimal signs of handling or light usage from initial testing. Additionally, all cameras may register a small number of shutter actuations during factory quality control checks before leaving the manufacturer.

The 489 actuations you’ve observed represent an extremely low shutter count, especially considering that the Ricoh GR III is officially rated for a shutter life of approximately 100,000 actuations. The camera you received is therefore well within expected performance parameters and remains in excellent condition.

Please also note that the condition of the camera was reflected in the selling price, offering a significant saving compared to a brand-new, unopened unit.

As for the flash unit, your web order was placed for a special order item — this was indicated on the product page at the time of purchase. Special order items can sometimes take over four weeks to fulfill, depending on manufacturer availability. We’re currently awaiting stock and will dispatch your order as soon as it arrives.
