The customer support and orientation was excellent. The Tesla Key Ring is remarkably superior to other brands and got synced with both of my Teslas seamlessly. Very happy and satisfied. Recommend CNICK key rings to anyone looking for the best key ring in the market.

So I bought a CNICK ring as a wedding ring and bought the platinum one that they advertised as being really durable. Two years later.....it's an absolute state. Functionality honestly is incredible, really great stuff and cant complain there. But quality of the ring itself is abismal and contacted customer support and they basically just said it is what it is 🤷‍♂️. Do not recommend if you want a quality a ring, fine for a bit of fun but nothing long term that looks nice.

Really useful product and worked flawlessly for 9 months. Then the ring started to come apart around the outside. Customer services were really helpful and a replacement is on its way. I'm hopeful that the replacement will last a little longer but also know that the customer service experience is good if there are problems. So loses a star for build quality and one for getting this setup in the UK which is more complicated than it should be.

Update: der Kundenservice hat nach meiner Bewertung kostenlos einen Ersatzring geschickt. Das Produkt an sich finde ich nach wie vor sehr gut, vor allem, da der Titan so filigran wie ein normaler Ring ist.

Der erste Ring war von Anfang an technisch defekt und wurde relativ problemlos ausgetauscht.
Bei dem zweiten Ring (Titanium Gen2) hat sich nach 6 Monaten außen das Metall abgelöst. Ich war _sehr_ häufig mit dem Support im Austausch. Die gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Gewährleistung wird hier einfach ignoriert. Es wird immer gesagt, dass im Rahmen der Garantie der Ring nicht ausgetauscht wird -- dies ist jedoch nicht relevant im Gewährleistungszeitraum.
Außerdem wurde das ganze als kosmetischer Fall eingestuft, obwohl die komplette Außenhülle abgeht.
Wenn das Produkt noch heile ist und funktioniert ist es ganz cool, schade.

Ich habe einen Titan-NFC-Ring in Größe 10 (19,8 mm) bestellt. Der gelieferte Ring hatte jedoch einen Innendurchmesser von 20,1 mm und entsprach damit einer größeren Größe.

Ich habe den Mangel unmittelbar nach Erhalt gemeldet und mit Fotos dokumentiert – unter anderem mit einem hochwertigen Mahr-Messschieber. Statt den Fehler anzuerkennen, behauptete der Support, Messschieber seien ungenau und die Ringgröße müsse stimmen, weil auf der Verpackung "Größe 10" stand.

Für einen Umtausch gegen einen anderen Ring sollte ich zunächst 20 € Versand- und Bearbeitungsgebühr bezahlen, das habe ich abgelehnt und eine Rückgabe wegen falsch geliefertem Artikel eingeleitet. Nach der Rücksendung wurden außerdem 5 € Rücksendekosten von der Erstattung einbehalten, obwohl ich den Ring ausdrücklich wegen der falsch gelieferten Größe zurückgegeben hatte. Erst nach mehreren E-Mails wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass der Ring erst nach einem bis zu zweimonatigen Prüfprozess vermessen werde.

Da keine Einigung möglich war, leitete ich ein Mastercard-Chargeback ein. Die 5 € wurden schließlich über das Chargeback erstattet.

Besonders enttäuschend war für mich nicht der eigentliche Fehler, sondern der Umgang damit. Anstatt eine nachvollziehbare Reklamation kundenfreundlich zu lösen, musste ich über Wochen diskutieren und letztlich ein Chargeback einleiten, um den vollständigen Kaufpreis zurückzuerhalten.

Die Antwort von CNICK hier bestätigt meine Erfahrung: Der Ring wies nachweislich(!) einen Mangel auf und dies wurde vom Support über Wochen nicht anerkannt. Hinhaltetaktik und Bevormundung statt Einsicht.

Update: Following a one star review, Cnick reached out to offer a replacement for the defective ring. I've now received this and plan to use it shortly, hopefully without the same issues encountered with the first ring. Although the customer service received originally was disappointing, the support that I have received since has been far more proactive.

I purchased a CNICK Gen2 payment ring because the idea of combining contactless payments and Tesla key functionality in a single wearable seemed excellent.

The reality was very different.

The ring worked for approximately the first two weeks. After that, payment reliability steadily deteriorated until it eventually stopped working altogether. By six weeks after purchase, the ring could no longer be relied upon to perform its primary purpose: making payments.

I contacted CNICK support and explained that the payment issues had developed gradually after purchase. During the support process I also noticed a hairline crack in the ring.

What followed was the most disappointing part of the experience.

Rather than investigating why a £101 payment ring had effectively failed within weeks, the entire discussion became focused on the crack. I repeatedly explained that the payment problems had started before I became aware of the damage and that the ring had not been subjected to any impact that I was aware of.

CNICK ultimately rejected the warranty claim. Their position was that the crack could have affected the NFC components and therefore they could not determine whether the payment failure was caused by a manufacturing defect.

The ring was never physically inspected. It was never tested. The conclusion was reached solely from photographs.

What I find particularly concerning is that the burden appeared to be entirely on me to prove that the failure occurred before the crack, while CNICK did not need to establish that customer damage had actually caused the failure. The fact that the ring's core functionality failed after only a few weeks seemed largely irrelevant to the outcome.

After reading other reviews, I can see that I am not the only customer who has experienced reliability problems, products failing after relatively short periods of use, or difficulties obtaining support when things go wrong.

The concept is excellent. The execution, product durability, and approach to warranty claims were not.

I would not buy anything from CNICK ever again.

I ordered a custom wedding ring (Aurum Gen2 18k Gold) from CNICK and couldn't be happier. When the original shipment was unfortunately lost in transit, the team, especially Sopho, reached out to me proactively, took full responsibility, and immediately arranged a replacement at no extra cost. They prioritised the production, kept me informed at every step, and made sure the ring arrived well before my wedding.

The ring itself exceeded my expectations. The quality is excellent and it fits perfectly. I'm genuinely impressed by how the entire situation was handled: clear communication, no excuses, and real care for the customer. :)

I’ve owned a few payment rings from the early days but this offers the most flexibility especially when used with the curve card as I select from multiple cards within the curve app and even have a grace period to switch a transaction from one card to another post the actual transaction.

I only had an issue when the ring stopped working but customer service was excellent. Fast to respond, incredibly understanding and helpful. After seeing the original ring they gave me a discount off a new ring to the old value as I wanted to upgrade to the titanium version. Arrived quickly, works even better and looks great, so I’m very happy 😃

I use this ring for payments and as Tesla key. Both functionalities work as expected.

I do not know how I existed without this ring! It is smooth, fast and accurate. It is safe, secure and no nonsense approach to shopping, and I love the responses I get back from shops, when I make a purchase.

Der Titanium-Ring wurde innerhalb von drei Tagen aus Polen geliefert. Die Zahlungs-Registrierung mit Fidesmo und meiner dort angebotenen Bank lief ebenfalls ohne Probleme. Es folgten an folgenden Tagen ein paar Bezahlungen auch mit der Bankkarten-Pin auch ohne Probleme. (Eine mögliche Regstrierung bei Curve, um ggfs. weitere Kreditkarten nutzen zu können, scheiterte an Curve-Registrierung ) . Aber auch so okay. Hoffe, dass die Qualität des Rings noch lange erhalten und zuverlässig bleibt !!!

great ring, Quick shipping, great service

If you're looking for a payment ring, I'd highly recommend this one! There's a good selection of rings, although not all sizes are available. The ring sizer comes very quick and then the ordering process is fairly painless. The rings are great, the set up process on the app was easy, and they work a treat!! Very happy!

CNICK never abandoned me though out my problems with changing my payment options, allows polite and understanding even though sometimes my questions were a little bewildering, I thank you .

The CNICK ring has been one of my best purchases this year. So convenient to pay with. Never have to carry a wallet or get my phone out for any purchases when shopping. Has the added bonus of being able to lock/unlock my car too.
On the couple of occasions I've had to use customer support they've been really quick to respond and very helpful, it's nice to deal with a company that pay so much attention to customer service.
Highly recommend the product!

Pros:

-Ring seems to be of high quality (I purchased the more expensive one (StarMoon Gen 2 at 250€). Although it scratches very easily (not that I care).

-App mostly easy to use.

-Customer service replies relatively quickly.

-Works as it should, no issues no far.

Cons:

-Main reason for deducting stars: the ring requires re-authorisation after a certain amount of usages, requiring re-authentication with the phone scanner. This was not marketed anywhere visibly on the website and is an annoying surprise if one does not have their phone with them. It should have been made clearer.

-Really slow delivery, mine took 18 days to be delivered, my girlfriend's took almost 6 weeks to be delivered. We both live in Europe. Obviously this is not Cnick's fault necessarily, but it is their decision to use Aramex which is known as being one of the worst delivery companies out there. (DO NOT EXPECT THIS RING TO ARRIVE IN TIME TO BE GIVEN AS A GIFT!!!!)

-Packaging was a cheap and generic cardboard box, pretty unimpressive for a product that costs 250€. I assume they use the same boxes for everything.

This is the 2nd Cnick ring I have had (upgraded to a V2 as it is a smaller overall size). The sizing kit was delivered within a couple of days and the actual ring just a few days after that. It was easy to configure and connect to my card. I have used these rings for many years and nothing beats the ease and convenience.
