I still remember walking through the former Ford factory for the first time back in 2016, when we acquired part of the wider Automatica platform, together with Auchan Retail. It looked very different then — the photo is from that first visit. We later acquired the factory building itself from Auchan in 2022. Today, it is becoming One Gallery. These are the new offices of the first tenant who will move into the building and I really like how they turned out. Our own One United Properties SA offices are being fitted out now as well, and I’m really looking forward to moving here. After all these years, it’s very nice to finally see this building coming to life. Almost there.

Pozele acestea surprind exact partea mea preferată din eveniment: momentele reale. Discuțiile dintre sesiuni. Râsetele din culise. Oamenii care se revăd după un an. Energia aceea pe care nu o poți pune într-o agendă sau într-o prezentare PowerPoint. Sunt foarte recunoscătoare echipei mele. Și când spun echipă, mă gândesc la oamenii care în ultimele luni au pus enorm de mult suflet aici, chiar și în momentele în care era greu, obositor sau părea imposibil să mai încapă încă ceva în program. Ați fost extraordinari. Mulțumesc partenerilor și clienților noștri pentru încredere, pentru deschidere și pentru faptul că, de la an la an, transformați Dendrio IT Forum într-un loc în care chiar îți face plăcere să fii. Iar pentru mine, asta rămâne cel mai valoros lucru. Nu doar evenimentul în sine. Ci oamenii din jurul lui.

Mă uit la poza asta, făcută ieri la Dendrio IT Forum IT Forum, și văd, dincolo de cei trei oameni din ea, vreo opt ani din povestea Dendrio — ani în care un nume ales în 2018 pentru a înlocui GECAD NET a devenit un brand sub care se adună o parte importantă din infrastructura digitală a României. La început, Dendrio a fost o promisiune — primul integrator multi-cloud din România, o idee curajoasă într-o piață care încă învăța ce înseamnă cloud-ul. Dar promisiunile nu construiesc companii. Oamenii o fac. Iar dacă mă întreabă cineva astăzi cum a crescut Dendrio cu adevărat, răspunsul nu stă într-o strategie elegantă pe slide-uri, ci în oamenii care, an după an, au ales să își aducă propriile companii, echipe și clienți sub același acoperiș cu al nostru. Pe rând, s-au alăturat echipe care au adăugat la ceea ce puteam face: Crescendo (2018), cu expertiza ei în infrastructura enterprise; Top Tech și 2Net (2022), companii din Transilvania cu peste 30 de ani de istorie și cu un eveniment de tradiție organizat din 2014 în zona Sibiului — Transilvania IT Forum; și Dataware Consulting (2023), fondată de @Cătălin Georgescu și Constantin Savu Savu, o echipă pe care industria o cunoaște pentru ce înseamnă cu adevărat engineering serios. În poză sunt alături de doi oameni fără de care Dendrio nu ar fi astăzi ceea ce este: Cristian Herghelegiu , CEO de la primele zile ale brandului, și Constantin Savu Savu, nucleul de creștere al businessului. Acum doi ani am unit totul sub brandul Dendrio . Nu mai erau echipe diferite sub același acoperiș — eram o singură echipă. O decizie despre identitate, nu despre marketing. Astăzi Dendrio este un brand puternic, confirmat, în top 3 integratori IT din România. Pentru noi, ca acționari, asta înseamnă că am ajuns într-un punct în care nu mai e despre a construi de la zero — Dendrio e construit. Acum căutăm parteneri strategici care să îi valorifice potențialul deja demonstrat. Iar evenimentul pe care Top Tech îl ținea în zona Sibiului a ajuns la a 10-a ediție, sub brandul Dendrio, în Poiana Brașov. Pe scenă, peste 20 de lideri globali ai tehnologiei — la Platinum: Dell Technologies, Cisco, Fortinet, CloudXEdge; la Gold: Schneider Electric, Commvault, Everpure, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, HP Inc., F5, Fsas Technologies, Lenovo, Provision, ExaGrid, Epson, IBM, Tema Energy, Jabra, Bitdefender; la Silver: Veeam și Samsung. Și o componentă care îmi place cel mai mult: parteneriatul cu Salvați Copiii România pentru siguranța online a generațiilor care vin. Nu pot să închei fără echipa de marketing Dendrio — producția, scenografia, energia din sală, atenția la fiecare detaliu au făcut din toate astea un eveniment la nivelul celor pe care le vezi prin marile capitale europene. Leo Mart liked thisLeo Mart liked thisAzi am avut primul Kickoff general cu echipa Fort Cyber, denumit sugestiv FORTifying 2026 (credits to Andrei Resmerita & ▲ promocrat team). Și recunosc ceva: am avut emoții atât de mari încât nu am dormit deloc azi noapte… Pentru mine, rolul de CEO la #Fort este, probabil, cea mai mare provocare profesională pe care am avut-o până acum. Nu doar datorită complexității domeniului în care activăm sau maturității și impactului companiei. Ci mai ales datorită momentului în care am ales acest drum. Trăim într-o perioadă în care securitatea cibernetică a devenit una dintre cele mai mari provocări sistemice ale economiei digitale. În România – dar nu numai – asistăm la o avalanșă de atacuri cibernetice din ce în ce mai sofisticate și mai agresive. Reglementările apar și evoluează. Dar ele rareori sunt cu adevărat proactive. De cele mai multe ori sunt mai degrabă reactive, răspunzând atacurilor deja existente și încercând să țină pasul cu sofisticarea și agresivitatea atacatorilor. În paralel, o altă revoluție se desfășoară în fața noastră. Inteligența artificială. Auzi în fiecare zi că ne va schimba radical rolurile, modul de lucru și modul în care luăm decizii. În acest context, responsabilitatea este enormă. Încrederea echipei. Încrederea clienților noștri. Clienți care ne creditează cu o rată de încredere rar întâlnită într-o industrie atât de critică. Vom publica în curând rezultatele financiare și detalii despre studiul de satisfacție al clienților realizat la începutul acestui an. Pentru mine, aceste rezultate confirmă ceva foarte clar: valoarea extraordinară a acestei echipe. Iar astăzi am simțit asta din plin. Am avut un meeting extraordinar. Interactiv. Deschis. O adevărată sesiune de co-creație. Idei. Întrebări. Provocări. Și multă energie. Sentimentul cu care am plecat de acolo este unul simplu: mândrie. Mândrie că fac parte din această echipă. Mulțumesc oamenilor din Fort pentru încredere și Board-ului pentru suport. (Cc to Anca Manitiu, Andreea Bulisache , PE CFA, Bogdan Moldovan & Dragos Darabut). Sunt convinsă că vom face lucruri extraordinare împreună. Mâine voi fi la AI & BIG Data Conference – Regional AI Valley, la JW Marriott. Vreau să înțeleg mai bine câteva lucruri esențiale: – ce înseamnă în practică AI Act pentru companiile europene – cum schimbă AI securitatea cibernetică, atât din perspectiva apărării, cât și a atacurilor – cum se transformă procesele decizionale într-o lume în care interfața om–AI devine tot mai prezentă – și cum ar trebui să arate organizațiile reziliente în următorii 5–10 ani. Dacă sunteți acolo, haideți să stăm de vorbă. Cred că trăim una dintre acele perioade rare în care tehnologia nu doar accelerează lumea — ci o redefinește. You can't run a startup strictly on European 🇪🇺 infrastructure even if you really wanted to. Robert Heide did an experiment and set up his company entirely on EU infra: German Hetzner for servers, French Scaleway for cloud services, Dutch Nebius for AI, Slovenian bunny.net for CDN/DNS. The setup took him days instead of hours and he still could not escape hitting US servers multiple times for Claude, Google, Apple because of no alternative or options being way too expensive. Why won't someone create an AWS-like solution that puts this together to allow more European startups to choose EU tech without a PhD in DevOps? Has he missed any EU services he should be using instead? I also know of French OVHcloud for cloud / hosting, Polish GetResponse for mailing or our own portfolio company Defguard for enterprise-level self-hosted Wireguard-based VPN. Would you try a setup like this if it was easier or prefer to use the US stack even though it's more expensive and comes with geopolitical risks?
