*Unfair policy*
Basically if you tell this company that the product does not fit, they automatically de-value the product by 50%. They penalize you for what they call "Honest Mistakes," even though their policy says if they do not "FIT" as expected they will send you a replacement free of charge. That is not true.

However, if you tell them that you are just not happy, your product is still worth 100% of its value.

INSANE POLICY: "We offer an industry-leading 60-day 'In Love Again' guarantee to ensure you can have a brand-new looking sofa with our covers. You can try out your slipcovers for 60 days, washing them and subjecting them to life on your terms. If they don't FIT or perform as expected, we'll make it right by providing a brand-new replacement free of charge. If you're still not satisfied with the replacement sofa covers, we'll try again with another replacement or give you a full refund, no questions asked. However, please note that this replacement policy does not apply to honest mistakes or change of mind."

J'ai acheté une housse pour mon canapé ikea il y a environ 3 ans. Au début j'étais ravie, il va parfaitement sur le canapé et à l'air de bonne facture. Mais rapidement la housse s'est dégradée et dès la 1ère année a commencé à perdre sa couleur pour finir délavé sur une grande partie de sa surface. Au bout de 3 ans, on dirait un vieux canapé...
Pour le prix c'est quand même décevant

La housse est de très bonne qualité et, dans l’ensemble, je suis satisfaite de mon achat. La livraison s’est parfaitement déroulée : elle est arrivée en excellent état, bien emballée, et la matière est vraiment très belle et qualitative.

La couleur m’a un peu déçue par rapport à ce que j’imaginais, mais je reconnais que je n’avais pas demandé d’échantillon au préalable, donc cela relève davantage de mon choix.

En revanche, je suis plus déçue par l’ajustement de la housse au niveau des coussins d’assise. Sur notre canapé SÖRVALLEN, les coussins sont solidaires du canapé et ne peuvent donc pas être retirés. Or, la housse semble avoir été conçue avec un volume assez important pour les accueillir. Il faut alors essayer de faire rentrer et de coincer l’excédent de tissu le long des coutures et entre les coussins. Malgré plusieurs essais pour bien l’ajuster, le rendu n’est malheureusement pas aussi net et naturel que je l’espérais.

C’est vraiment dommage, car la qualité du tissu et de la confection est excellente. Avec un ajustement mieux pensé pour les coussins fixes du SÖRVALLEN, le résultat aurait été parfait.

I found Comfort works while searching for someone to make a slip cover for a 1990s crate and barrel rolled arm chair and a half. After contacting them, they sent me requests for photos of the chair, asked me to pick fabric, and then sent me detailed drawings based on my photos of the chair, asking for dimensions. Since this was a rolled arm chair, I was very nervous about fit, but it arrived in a very short period of time, and the fit was perfect. I would definitely use them for any other slip cover projects. The staff was very easy to work with and paid a lot of attention to detail, even following up with me a couple of times to double check dimensions before they started making the slip cover.

They’ve changed the design for their covers. If you have a sectional couch (like Ikea’s corner couch), beware that they now send you the cover as a single piece. They used to send individual pieces for each of the couch sections which was easy to install. Now, it’s just a single giant piece for the entire sofa. It makes it extremely difficult to install on a corner/sectional sofa. Also, if you say need to wash just the cover of the armrest, now you can’t. You have to remove the entire cover and wash the whole thing. Otherwise, the quality of the fabric, the fit and finish remains unchanged. So, if you’re shopping for just a chair or regular couch, you’ll be fine.

Our RH chair's fabric started wearing after a few years and we were worried that Comfortwork's pre-measured slipcovers wouldn't fit our Maxwell swivel chairs. They sent samples and the slipcovers in less than a week so fast response. They're near perfect fits and easy to put on or take off. Very happy with the fit and fabric. My only complaint is I wish they had more color choices to match RH's colors better. I'd definitely use them again and may use them to make more pillows to match the chairs. - Darren

The slipcover fits perfectly, the fabric is good quality and the service was great. Well worth the price -which is reasonable given the quality of the product.

Comfort-Works does not advise customers just how difficult it is to order the exact right slipcovers and that they offer no refund if it doesn't work out. Even if you know the company and exact model of furniture you want the slipcover for, companies change the dimensions of models over time. In addition, there can be many models even within the same company that look exactly alike, with only the very subtlest of differences. Comfort-Works makes no effort to warn people of these problems. All they will do if the slipcover doesn't fit is say too bad and give you a 50% credit toward another order - and if it turns out to be custom made, b/c your model is outdated, then it costs far more than the original order. Their policies are hidden towards the bottom of their deceptive "60 Day - In Love Again Guarantee." Caveat emptor!

J'ai commandé une housse en tissu Signature Velvet Natural pour un canapé d'angle Söderhamn IKEA, pour un montant de 1 266 €.
Après plusieurs semaines de litige et de nombreux échanges par mail avec le service commercial, Comfort Works m'a finalement accordé une indemnisation de 50 %. Malgré cela, la housse ne s'adapte pas correctement à mon canapé. Le tissu reçu présente un aspect marbré qui ne correspond pas à l'échantillon qui m'avait été envoyé avant la commande, ni au descriptif du produit en français (effet pierre calcaire).
Le site ne propose pas de visuel du tissu en situation réelle et le logiciel de simulation ne reflète pas fidèlement le rendu final.
Pour une housse vendue comme étant réalisée sur mesure à ce prix, j'attendais un résultat parfaitement conforme. Mon expérience reste très décevante et je ne recommande pas Comfort Works.

I had a discontinued Ethan Allen English arm chair and wanted to salvage it with a slipcover, but didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Comfort Works created a work of art. I’m so impressed with the precision of the arm pleats! The fabric looks expensive, the cost can’t be beat, and the customer service was as impeccable as the product. Mark was a true professional and we worked as a team to get the measurements right. I’ll definitely go back for more. I highly recommend Comfort Works!

We needed to replace or recover our Pottery Barn sofa. We've had it for 20 years! We decided to recover, and we chose Comfort Works. It was an excellent choice. The communication, advice, craftsmanship, and delivery were all exceptional. We would choose them again without any question.

Great customer service and beautiful slipcovers. They have a great selection of fabrics to choose from. Online ordering is easy and quick. I have covered a PB sofa, chair and ottoman. They look brand new! Better than buying a new furniture. I highly recommend Comfort Works for slipcovers.

I intially had some fit issues with the sofa base cover but Comfort Works helped me measure better and remade my sofa. I have an Arhaus Filmore sofa with a Comfort Works cover in Mod Chenille in Mist. She is gorgeous!

I got my cover so quickly. It fits perfectly! I’m in the process of moving so I haven’t actually used it but I did slip it on and it felt great. I can’t wait to use my beautiful, new chair,(cover), in my new house. And a very reasonable price.

I ordered sofa covers from Comfort Works approximately 7 years ago to replace the loose covers on an Ikea sofa I purchased in 2004! The covers were great but they had faded and the seams had become a bit weak over time, due to the fact that the sofa was positioned in the sunshine in a warm room. I decided to replace the covers and returned to Comfort Works for new ones for the same sofa (now 22 years old), and this time the covers and service was even better than it was 7 years ago! I placed the order and within 2 weeks the covers were completed and about to be shipped. I live in the far north of Scotland and couriers tend to mess us about a bit, with deliveries often taking over a week longer than the timescale given. But these covers arrived on the day they were supposed to, and within a few days of being shipped to the UK from abroad! Amazing! The covers are stunning, feel great, and fit the sofa perfectly. It has really lifted the room.
If you have a good sofa but it needs sprucing up, and Comfort Works can make you new covers for the make of sofa, I would go with that. The covers are not cheap, and sometimes we might think it is easier just to buy a new sofa for double the price of covers. But in the world we live in, with so much waste, it is wonderful to keep a good product going with a bit of TLC. And Comfort Works enables that.
