After mutual anchorage in the foundation strip the individual shaped elements interact with each other and transfer the load of the upper structure into the foundation excavation, which is their main function. When assembling, the shaped elements are placed sideways against each other, perpendicular to the axis of the foundation strip. They are connected with the anchoring elements 9,10 thereby creating a joint that anchors and stabilises the shaped elements in the horizontal and vertical directions.
