Abstract

The present invention relates to an improved process for the synthesis of Iiraglutide or pharmaceutically acceptable salts by hybrid approach. The fragments are synthesized by solid phase synthesis approach and the Iiraglutide is synthesized by making use of the fragments in solution phase.
