Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung eines Partikel-haltigen pulverförmigen Beschichtungsmatenals bei einem Beschichtungsverfahren ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Kaltgasspritzen, Flammspritzen, Hochgeschwindigkeitsflammspritzen, thermischem Plasmaspritzen und nichtthermischem Plasmaspritzen, wobei die Partikel einen relativen Verformbarkeitsfaktor V m von höchstens 0,1 aufweisen und der relative Verformbarkeitsfaktor gemäß Formel (I) definiert ist, wobei d die durchschnittliche geringste Dicke der Partikel, gemessen vertikal zur und in der mittleren Hälfte der Längsachse der Partikel, und D 50 der mittlere Durchmesser der volumengemittelten Partikelgrößenverteilung ist. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Beschichtung.
