The unsealing may be performed before the pack has been located in the pressure chamber (fig. 2a) or inside the chamber (fig. 2b), by piercing or a slight incision by means of a sharp edge, or the blades of an element 6.

Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un procédé permettant d'ouvrir des paquets non hermétiques, en particulier des paquets de cigarettes non hermétiques, et à un procédé permettant d'ouvrir des paquets hermétique par pression. Au moins un paquet est placé dans une chambre sous pression, la pression à l'intérieur de ladite chambre et à l'intérieur dudit paquet étant par la suite augmentée au-delà de la pression ambiante, après quoi la chambre est brusquement décompressée de sorte que le paquet est déchiré en conséquence d'une différence momentanée entre la pression à l'intérieur de la chambre entourant le paquet et la pression à l'intérieur du paquet.
