Pour ce faire, la prise électrique de la présente invention comprend une unité d'indication de l'état opérationnel, laquelle inclut une assise de fiche formée dans une structure symétrique à l'extérieur d'une fiche insérée, et au moins un module de circulation auquel est connectée une paire de bornes de connexion disposées en correspondance avec les électrodes de la fiche. Selon l'invention, le module de circulation est logé à l'intérieur d'un logement qui est relié à un boîtier supérieur muni d'une ouverture d'insertion de fiche et d'une ouverture opérationnelle du module de circulation et à un boîtier inférieur muni d'une borne principale reliée électriquement à l'extérieur, l'unité d'affichage affichant un état opérationnel en réponse au mouvement du module de circulation reçu à l'intérieur du logement. La prise électrique de la présente invention comprend également un guide de trajet de module servant à guider et à limiter le trajet de circulation du module de circulation et un élément de positionnement conçu pour bloquer le module de circulation à une position prédéterminée pendant le mouvement du module de circulation et un corps souple pour restreindre le mouvement du module de circulation par effet élastique.
