Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de production de tabac coupé, selon lequel on obtient un produit de tabac, de préférence exempt de tiges et/ou de nervures. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes suivantes : a) le produit de tabac est classé en au moins deux classes de taille dudit produit (14, 24.1, 24.2, 24.3) et distribué; b) au moins une quantité de tabac d'un produit d'une classe de taille (14, 24.1, 24.2, 24.3, 24.3) est fragmentée une ou plusieurs fois, de manière à former une ou plusieurs sous-classes de taille de produit de tabac; c) une quantité de tabac d'une sous-classe de taille de produit de tabac est mélangée avec une quantité de tabac d'une classe de taille de produit de tabac (14, 24.1, 24.2, 24.3) et/ou une quantité de tabac d'une autre sous-classe de taille de produit de tabac, dans un rapport de mélange prédéterminé, de manière à former une quantité de mélange de tabac, et d) dans une étape ultérieure, la quantité de mélange de tabac est coupée en tabac coupé.
