Abstract

 本発明は、フレキシブル性を有しながらも十分なガスバリア性を示す上に、効率よく生産することができる有機EL素子を提供する。また、本発明は、同様の特性を有する有機ELディスプレイ装置を提供することも目的とする。本発明の有機EL素子は、少なくとも基板、1対の電極、および有機エレクトロルミネッセンス層を有し;当該基板が液晶ポリマーフィルムよりなることを特徴とする。
