L'invention concerne un dispositif EL organique présentant des propriétés de barrière aux gaz suffisantes tout en ayant de la flexibilité, lequel peut être produit efficacement. L'invention concerne également un dispositif d'affichage EL organique ayant les mêmes caractéristiques. L'invention concerne précisément un dispositif EL organique comprenant au moins un substrat, une paire d'électrodes et une couche électroluminescente organique, lequel est caractérisé en ce que le substrat est composé d'un film de polymère cristal liquide.
