Abstract

The present invention relates to a biodiesel production system which not only allows the configuration of the system to be simplified and the volume of equipment to be reduced but also allows automation to be very easily implemented with automatic running of all processes starting from the introduction of the raw materials, and allows contraction of the working processes and the working time taken to produce the biodiesel; and it relates to a control method therefor. The invention is characterised in that it comprises: a pre-treatment unit for eliminating contaminating matter, water and the like contained in the raw materials being supplied; a production unit which uses a catalyst to process the raw materials being supplied after the said raw materials have been treated by means of the pre-treatment unit; a collection unit for accumulating the product obtained after the processing in the production unit; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the pre-treatment unit, production unit and collection unit; and, with this arrangement, the pre-treatment unit, production unit and collection unit are automatically operated in comprehensive batch fashion by means of the control unit in accordance with the amount of raw material supplied to the pre-treatment unit and the amount of product collected in the collection unit.
