Abstract

　抗ガン剤として有望なコチレニンおよび12-デオキシフシコクシン類、ならびにその誘導体の製造原料として有用なフシコッカ-2,10(14)-ジエンの大量生産に有効に使用できる新規酵素及びその遺伝子を提供する。また当該酵素または当該酵素の製造のために使用されるベクター及び形質転換体を用いてフシコッカ-2,10(14)-ジエンを製造する方法を提供する。 　本発明のフシコッカン合成キメラ型酵素は、Ｎ端領域に配列番号１に記載するアミノ酸配列またはその機能的同等配列からなるテルペン環化酵素ドメイン、およびＣ端領域に配列番号２に記載するアミノ酸配列またはその機能的同等配列からなるプレニルトランスフェラーゼドメインを有することを特徴とする。当該酵素をコードする遺伝子を有する形質転換体を培養することにより、当該酵素ならびにフシコッカ-2,10(14)-ジエンを製造する。
