Abstract

A multilingual search device (101) comprises an acquisition section (301), a translation section (302), and a registration/update section (303). The acquisition section (301) acquires a question sentence and/or an answer sentence from a terminal. The translation section (302) generates a translation sentence of the question sentence and/or the answer sentence acquired by the acquisition section (301). The registration/update section (303) associates the question sentence and/or the answer sentence acquired by the acquisition section (301) with the translation sentence generated by the translation section (302) to store it in a QA database. This makes it possible to perform the registration/update of information while maintaining the consistency to each language data without requiring the user to take trouble and time.
