Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de décomposition caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à décomposer une matière d'intérêt avec un oxyde composite titane-silicium chimiquement lié qui contient du titane, du silicium, et un oxyde chimiquement lié, et qui présente un pic d'absorption compris entre 650 et 990 cm-1 dans un spectre d'absorption dans l'infrarouge, tel que mesuré par spectroscopie infrarouge. Le procédé de décomposition selon l'invention peut être appliqué à un procédé pour décomposer une matière organique, un procédé pour supprimer un oxyde d'azote, un procédé de désodorisation, un procédé pour éliminer une substance causale, un procédé de traitement antisalissure, un traitement anti-gouttes d'eau, un procédé de traitement anticondensation ou anti-buée, ou un procédé pour lutter contre des micro-organismes nuisibles.
