Abstract

 低コストでありながら異なる光情報記録媒体に対して適切に情報の記録及び/又は再生を行える光ピックアップ装置用の対物光学素子を提供するために、光路差付与構造において、利用する回折光の次数が(r、s、t)=(10、6、5)又は(2、1、1)である場合、中央領域を通過する3種類(λ1、λ2、λ3)の波長の光束のいずれに対しても、光の利用効率を高く維持することができ、互換機能と、環境温度が変化した場合に球面収差の劣化を抑える機能とのバランスを確保することができる。又、利用する回折光の次数が(u、v)=(10、6)、(5、3)又は(2、1)である場合、中間領域を通過する2種類(λ1、λ2)の波長の光束のいずれに対しても、光の利用効率を高く維持することができ、互換機能と、環境温度が変化した場合に球面収差の劣化を抑える機能とのバランスを確保することができる。
