Abstract

 本発明は良好な波長特性を有し、かつ軸上色収差を補正した対物光学素子、及びこれを用いて高密度光ディスクに対して情報の記録及び/又は再生を行うことができる光ピックアップ装置を提供する。  NPS構造を有するプラスチック製の単玉非球面レンズでは温度特性を良好にしたとき、波長特性が大きく劣化してしまう。また、NPS構造を有しても、対物レンズ単体では軸上色収差を補正することができないという課題がある。そこで、NPS構造と回折構造とを重ね合わせた光路差付与構造を単玉のプラスチックレンズに設ける。
