Abstract

 基材を熱処理することによってその表面に酸化チタン皮膜を形成してから、酸化チタン皮膜に紫外線を照射して生体親和性インプラントを製造する。このとき、チタン金属又はチタン合金からなる基材を酸化可能気体中で加熱して酸化チタン皮膜を形成する方法と、基材の表面にチタン化合物を含有する液を塗布してから熱処理してゾル-ゲル法によって酸化チタン皮膜を形成する方法が好適である。これにより、ヒドロキシアパタイトの形成能に優れた酸化チタン皮膜を有する生体親和性インプラントの製造方法が提供される。
