Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de production de 1,2-dichloroéthane liquide (DCE), obtenu par chloration directe froide de l'éthylène, en présence d'un catalyseur du type acide de Lewis, permettant d'obtenir, après séparation du catalyseur, du DCE de pureté suffisante pour donner par craquage du chlorure de vinyle monomère (CVM); caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une étape de déchloration (5)du flux de DCE liquide(4) sortant du réacteur de chloration (1), permettant d'éliminer le chlore dissous en excès, suivie d'une étape d'évaporation directe (9)sur la totalité du flux de DCE liquide (8) sortant dudit réacteur, permettant la séparation du catalyseur de la fraction évaporée (10) du flux de DCE bon pour craquage. L'invention se rapporte également à l'installation pour la mise en oeuvre d'un tel procédé.
