Abstract

L'invention trouve une application particulière dans l'extinction d'incendies d'hydrocarbures à l'état liquide, où ce sont les gaz s'échappant de la surface qui brûlent. On évite, par ailleurs, que le feu ne se rallume grâce à la conversion de ce liquide d'extinction en mousse qui recouvre la surface souhaitée. Le boîtier de l'extincteur comprend des moyens de montage sélectif de pièces de renfort des zones où le produit ne devrait pas être dispersé, ou pour diriger le produit vers les zones les plus adéquates, notamment les couvercles placés dans les zones souhaitées.
