Abstract

L'invention concerne une calotte de tête fémorale (1) destinée à des prothèses de remplacement de surface de l'articulation de la hanche, présentant une surface d'ancrage intérieure (6) destinée à la fixation sur la tête fémorale (2). La calotte de tête fémorale selon l'invention est caractérisée en ce que la surface d'ancrage intérieure (6) présente une première zone (3) destinée à l'ancrage cimenté de la calotte de tête fémorale (1) sur la section apicale de la tête fémorale (2), et une deuxième zone (4) destinée à l'ancrage non-cimenté de la calotte de tête fémorale (1) sur la section essentiellement cylindrique de la tête fémorale. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'application de ciment dans une calotte de tête fémorale ainsi qu'un applicateur destiné à cet effet.
