Abstract

Procédé d'application en couche mince de laitier métallurgique sur une bande de transport (2) tournant en continu, selon lequel le laitier en fusion est introduit par une ouverture de remplissage (4) dans un récipient intermédiaire (3) pouvant être chauffé à l'aide d'un brûleur (18), puis éventuellement dosé à l'aide d'un distributeur (20) et versé sur la bande de transport (2). Selon la présente invention, pour que ledit procédé soit mis en oeuvre de manière avantageuse, le récipient intermédiaire (3) symétrique en rotation (3), destiné à réchauffer à l'aide du brûleur (18) le laitier introduit, est tourné autour de son axe de rotation après inclinaison autour d'un axe de basculement horizontal (6), avant que le laitier préchauffé à une température prédéterminée ne soit versé de manière dosée par l'ouverture de remplissage (4) par une nouvelle inclinaison du récipient intermédiaire (3) autour de l'axe de basculement horizontal (4).
