Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Passagiersitz (1) für ein Verkehrsmittel, insbesondere für ein Flugzeug, mit einem Grundkörper (2) und einer gegenüber dem Grundkörper (2) zwischen einer Sitzposition und wenigstens einer Ruheposition verstellbar angeordneten Rückenlehne sowie mit einer Sitzfläche, die seitlich von wenigstens einer als Armablage ausgebildeten Konsole begrenzt ist. Eine besonders komfortable Privatsphäre des Passagiers wird ermöglicht, wenn in der Konsole (5) ein Schutzschild (6) vorgesehen ist, der nach oben aus der Konsole (5) ausfahrbar ist und/oder in der Ruheposition eine Haube (3) über den Kopf des Passagiers schwenkbar ist.
