Definitions

  • the invention is based on the problem of developing a privacy screen and light screen from segments of a square basic shape which are movably connected to one another and which should be suspended in such a way that they can additionally be pivoted about a second axis in comparison with the existing solutions.
  • the combination of two axes of rotation should make it possible to position the segments perpendicular to any direction of incidence of light or glances.
  • the invention offers several advantages.
  • the segments can be aligned perpendicular to the incident light at any position of the sun and thus achieve optimal shading with little darkening.
  • the advantage over blinds or slats is particularly evident in the case of oblique sunlight.
  • targeted sight protection is possible if insights from a restricted area e.g. an opposite window should be prevented.
  • the adjustability allows light to be directed into rooms by positioning the segments so that they reflect the light at the desired angle.
  • FIGS. 1-6 An exemplary embodiment is explained with reference to FIGS. 1-6. Show it:

However, the square shape, as can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2, is not absolutely necessary, and the size can also be adapted to the intended optical effect. The segments are always connected to those above them.

  • the arti bracket fastened and supported axis 4 is rotated by chain, or toothed belt, or toothed rack, threaded rod or the like via a corresponding gear wheel fastened to the axis.
  • This adjustment is shown for a single segment in FIG. 2, the adjustment mechanism transmitting the rotary movement of a crank here via a universal joint to gearwheels located in the bracket, which are connected to the axles via a chain, as can be seen from the exemplary embodiment in FIG.
  • the respective suspension axes 4 of the segment rows can be adjusted individually or simultaneously depending on the design. Vertical adjustment is not
