Abstract

Vefahren zur enzymatischen präparativen Herstellung von GDP-6-Desoxyhexosen aus GDP-D-Mannose, Mannose-1-phosphat oder Mannose-6-phosphat in Gegenwart geeigneter Enzyme wie einer GDP-D-Mannose-4,6-Dehydratase und gegebenenfalls einer GDP-4-Keto-6-desoxy-D-mannose-3,5-epimerase-4-reduktase oder einer GDP-4-Keto-6-desoxy-D-mannose-4-reduktase und Verfahren zur Kopplung der erhaltenen GDP-aktivierten Hexosen mittels Glycosyltransferasen, z.B. Fucsyltransferasen an Oligo- oder Polysacchariden.
