Die Erfindung geht aus von einem Adapter für ringförmige Leuchtstofflampen mit integrierter Vorschalt- und Zündanordnung gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Es handelt sich dabei insbesondere um einen Adapter für kompakte ringförmige Leuchtstofflampen, wie sie vielfach also Ersatz für Glühlampen Verwendung finden.The invention relates to an adapter for ring-shaped fluorescent lamps with an integrated ballast and ignition arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1. Aus der US-Patentschrift 4454451 ist Lampeneinheit aus ringförmiger Leuchtstofflampe und Adapter zum Anschluß an übliche Schraubsockel für Glühlampen bekannt. Der Adapter weist neben Trägerarmen zur mechanischen Halterung der Lampe auch eine von diesen mechanischen Trägerar- men baulich getrennte flexible Anschlußeinheit mit Sockelanschlußteil zu elektrischen Verbindung auf, das auf einem der mechanischen Trägerarme aufliegt. Außerdem besitzt dieser Adapter ein sehr voluminöses zentrales Gehäuseteil zur Aufnahme der Vorschalt- und Zündanordnung, das keinen Einbau in entsprechend eng dimensionierte Leuchten erlaubt.From US Pat. Durch die quaderförmige Gestalt des Adapters kann dieser weitestge- hend in dem durch die ringförmige Leuchtstofflampe umschlossenen Raum untergebracht werden und beansprucht somit - mit Ausnahme der Anfor- mung mit dem Schraub- oder Bajonettsockel - keinen zusätzlichen Raum. Im Innern ist parallel zur Bodenplatte eine Platine 14 angebracht, auf der die Bauteile 15 der Vorschalt- und Zündanordnung 16 befestigt und über Leiterbahnen und Anschlußleitungen (hier nicht dargestellt) mit dem E27-Schraubsockel 13 verbunden sind. Die Platine 14 ist anderseits über Anschlußdrähte 17 mit einer weiteren Platine 18 elektrisch verbunden, auf der die Klemmkontakte 19 der Stiftsockelfassung 8 befestigt sind.
