Abstract

Le 'compost' résultant de traitements des résidus solides urbains est soumis à une étape (1) d'analyse quantitative et qualitative bactériologique et de détermination du contenu des éléments et/ou des contaminants et/ou des composés accumulatifs qui, lors d'une seconde étape (2), sont éliminés au moyen d'opérations physiques et chimiques (2a, 2b) jusqu'à atteindre, au moins, des valeurs maximales prédéfinies. Sont ensuite mises en oeuvre des étapes de déshydratation ou séchage (3), de mouture et/ou tamisage (4) et de lyophilisation ou stérilisation (5) afin d'obtenir un aliment de base pour animaux pouvant être éventuellement enrichi (6) et/ou utilisé pour fabriquer un aliment composé. L'aliment résultant est indiqué comme nourriture pour animaux et plus spécialement indiqué pour la flore et la faune marine.
