Abstract
Cette invention concerne un procédé de dégradation thermique de déchets caoutchouteux dans un milieu de travail, de répartition des produits de la dégradation en produits solides et gazeux, et de séparation de l'huile des produits gazeux issus de la dégradation. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que l'on utilise en qualité de milieu de travail un mélange de vapeur et de gaz se composant de vapeur d'eau surchauffée à une température entre 300° et 1600° C et d'un gaz obtenu après la séparation de l'huile des produits gazeux issus de la dégradation. La proportion en poids de la vapeur dans le mélange varie entre 98 et 85 %, tandis que celle du gaz varie entre 2 et 15 %. Avant de procéder à la dégradation thermique des déchets caoutchouteux, il est possible d'ajouter de l'huile dans une proportion en poids variant de 3 à 40 % par rapport au poids des déchets.
