Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé pour la culture d'un matériau de remplacement du tissu osseux, selon lequel une cavité osseuse débarrassée du périoste est recouverte par le tissu mou entourant l'os, au moyen d'un dispositif de recouvrement pouvant être fixé à l'os et présentant une membrane de recouvrement formée de préférence par un matériau biodégradable, après quoi une chambre de culture ainsi créée est traversée par un croissance osseuse en provenance de l'os, caractérisé en ce que: on choisit comme cavité osseuse une région d'un os concave, en particulier de l'os du bassin, différente de l'emplacement définitif d'utilisation du matériau de remplacement; le périoste est détaché de l'os dans la région choisie; l'os dans la région choisie est ouvert, en particulier foré, en au moins un emplacement, en vue d'obtenir une liaison permettant un écoulement sanguin entre le tissu osseux et la cavité osseuse déterminée par la région choisie; le dispositif de recouvrement est ensuite fixé à l'os pour recouvrir la cavité; le périoste avec le tissu mou voisin est ensuite appliqué sur le dispositif de recouvrement; après croissance du matériau osseux dans la chambre de culture, le dispositif de recouvrement est libéré, après quoi ce dispositif et le matériau de remplacement du tissu osseux cultivé sont retirés de la cavité osseuse; et enfin, le matériau de remplacement du tissu osseux cultivé est inséré dans une cavité osseuse à remplir définitivement de ce matériau. L'invention concerne en outre un dispositif pour la mise en ÷uvre de ce procédé.
