Abstract

The invention concerns a tool holder (10) for accommodating fixed tools (11) by means of which workpieces rotating on an NC or CNC machine tool are machined. The tool holder (10) comprises a basic holder (14) and a replaceable holder (16) as well as a clamping device which secures the replaceable holder on the basic holder and which comprises tie rods (44, 46) which can act on the basic holder and on the replaceable holder and which can be axially clamped. The tie rods (44, 46) each comprise a tension member (47, 48), which is anchored in a form-locking and axially tension-proof manner on one of the two holder components, and a clamping component (49 and 51) which is mounted on the other of the two holder components (14 or 16) so as to rotate about an axis of rotation (92, 93) extending perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the holders and at a spacing therefrom. The clamping components (49, 51) are in the form of double-armed levers which can be rotated by actuation of clamping screws (81, 82), as a result of which the holder components (14 and 16) can be clamped to one another in a force and form-locking manner.
