Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device intended to supply an elevating or extracting screw with various materials, and more particularly a device making it possible to facilitate the unloading of transport vehicles such as trucks, in order to bring their contents into the receiving part of a lifting or extracting screw. In many material processing installations, and in particular in concrete plants, means of transport are used, for example elevating screws, making it possible to bring bulk materials from a first position to to another higher position, or else extracting screws ensuring the separation of the materials into several components. One of the problems encountered in this type of installation is due to the difficulty of supplying these screws regularly, in particular when the feed rate is not continuous. For example, in the case of installations intended for the recovery or washing of concrete residues originating from concrete plants or the rinsing of mixer trucks used for the transport of concrete, an extractor screw is used housed in a trough comprising a part receiver into which the mixture of water, concrete and various aggregates from the rinsing of the mixer trucks is poured. For reasons of space, it is difficult to rinse more than one or two trucks at a time; however, the arrival of the trucks at the place where the rinsing device is placed is always irregular, and when several trucks appear at the same time, only one of them can carry out the rinsing and dumping operations of its contents in the extractive screw while the others have to wait, which leads to a loss of time and a reduction in the economic efficiency of the entire installation.
On a envisagé divers dispositifs pour résoudre c problème et d'une manière générale pour améliorer la régula rité de l'alimentation des moyens de transport de matériauVarious devices have been considered to solve this problem and in general to improve the regularity of the supply of the material transport means.
For example, patent FR-2.54.0.844 describes a device comprising a rotary drum entraining bulk materials and discharging them onto a conveyor belt. The patent FR-2.509.500 describes a device suitable for handling " pulverulent materials by means of a raclette ply associated with a conveyor belt. Worm conveyor feed systems are still described in patents FR-2,418,179 and FR-2, 17,451, however, such devices are not adaptable to facilitate the simultaneous access of several trucks to supply an extractor screw, and the solutions used until now are not entirely satisfactory.
The present invention therefore relates to a device designed to facilitate the simultaneous unloading and rinsing of mixer trucks in an extractor screw of a rinsing installation and recovery of fresh concrete residues. The device according to the present invention is particularly suitable for supplying an extractor screw with various materials in bulk, and is distinguished in that it combines a scraper chain system with the receiving part of an extractor screw . Of course, it is similarly suitable for feeding a lifting screw.
According to a main characteristic of the present invention, the device for feeding an extractor screw or an elevating screw in various materials in bulk, comprises a box or an open trough containing a scraper chain rotating on two wheels arranged at each end of the trough, and the bottom of which has, at one end, a discharge disposed immediately above the receiving part of the lifting or extracting screw. Preferably, the trough is of "U" section with inclined side walls, comprising a flat bottom, reinforced by a wear plate, on which the scraper strip slides.
The gauge containing the scraper chain can be orientable in a horizontal plane relative to the extractor or elevating screw with which it is combined, and the vertical plane of the chain can make with that of the axis of the screw an angle varying from 0 to 90 ° approximately.
According to a variant, the trough is split into two elements arranged on either side of the screw, and forming with it an angle of approximately 90 °.
The chain may be of the type comprising articulated links and squeegees formed by metal plates integral with the links to which they are fixed by welding, bolting or riveting. The number and size of the links and squeegees can be easily determined depending on the materials used and the intended use. The chain is driven by a drive wheel preferably placed at the end of the gauge located above the receiving part of the screw, while a deflection wheel is placed at the other end of the trough. . Preferably, depending on the length of the trough, intermediate bearings can be provided to support the chain in its upper part.
The rotation of the drive wheel can be ensured by a conventional type gear motor. The speed of advance of the chain can be of the order of about 0.1 to 1 m / sec, and is determined according to the operating conditions of the installation.
The shape of the bottom of the box, the dimension and the space of the chain scrapers, as well as the speed of advancement of the latter, are determined according to the nature of the materials poured into the trough, from so as to ensure both a movement towards the outlet opening and a certain regularization of the flow.
The length of the box or trough must be sufficient to allow several mixer trucks to be placed on either side and pour their contents into the trough. This length may for example be between 3 and 15 m approximately. Preferably, the latter comprises in its upper part a protective and stripping grid. The capacity of the trough thus forming an unloading hopper is between 0.3 m 3 and 1 m3 per m of length. The gauge can be made for example of steel sheets assembled by bolting.
The pouring gauge of the mixer trucks is arranged in a substantially horizontal position, and preferably with a slight slope oriented towards the extractor screw to facilitate the movement of the materials which are poured into it. According to an additional characteristic of 1 • inven¬ tion, the starting of the chain drive motor can be triggered automatically by a lever or a support bar arranged on either side of the trough, and actuated by the first mixer truck in the unloading position.
The characteristics of the device according to the present invention will appear in more detail in the following description, relating to a preferred and non-limiting embodiment, with reference to the appended drawings, which represent:
- Figure 1 : un schéma de principe montrant le disposi¬ tif de 1'invention associé à une vis extractrice ;- Figure 1: a block diagram showing the device of the invention associated with an extractor screw;
The device (1) essentially comprises a box or trough (2) with a "U" section having inclined side walls (3) and a flat bottom (4) , forming a loading hopper, into which the fresh concrete residues and rinsing water from the mixer trucks are poured. The box contains a chain (5) driven by a drive wheel (6) and rotating on a return wheel (7). In the lower part of its movement, the chain (5) slides on the flat bottom (4) reinforced by a wear plate.
The drive wheel (6) is disposed in the front part of the device (1) according to the invention, the bottom of which has at this level an opening (8) located immediately above the receiving part (9) of a screw extractor (10).
The box rests on the one hand on a pallet (11) located near the foot of the trough (2), and on the other hand bears at the other end on the edge of the gauge of the extrac¬ trice (10). If necessary, and depending on the length of the box, intermediate pallets can be provided.
The mixer trucks dump their load into the trough (2) forming an unloading hopper, through the protective and stripping grid (12). The materials thus discharged are entrained in the bottom of the trough by the squeegees integral with the chain, towards the outlet opening (8) (which can be equipped with a chute, not shown), and fall back into the receiving part (9) of the screw.
In the event that several mixer trucks dump their contents into the trough (2) at the same time, an overflow opening (13) makes it possible to discharge the excess loaded rinse water.
The invention has been described with reference to a preferred embodiment to which various modifications of detail can of course be made.
