Abstract

A hopper to manipulate and distribute pulverised or granular material. It is mounted on a two wheeled trailer, and the tractor power take off (2) drives, via gullies (6) and belts (7), a compressor (3). This fills a reservoir (4) feeding a ram (10) and a reduction gear driving a scraper chain (17) in the hopper. The gullies also drive a shaft (21) fixed to a spring (22) which turns in a flexible pipe (8). In the base of the hopper a hollow pinned chain carries scrapers and moves on two pinions. The hopper base also has transverse bars and a longitudinal slide.
