Abstract

Une scie circulaire manuelle utile pour effectuer des coupes en plongée comprend une lame de scie (10) pourvue de dents de scie (11) protégée par un boîtier (3), par un capot protecteur (2) anti-vibration et par un couteau diviseur, notamment sollicité par un ressort, ainsi qu'au moins une poignée (5), un réglage de la profondeur de coupe délimité par des points morts supérieur et inférieur et une plaque de base (17). Au point mort supérieur, les dents de scie (11) s'étendent sur au maximum 3 mm au-dessus de la face inférieure de la plaque de base (17), qui peut notamment être guidée sur un rail de guidage susceptible d'être posé sur une pièce et qui peut pivoter par rapport à la lame (10) de la scie autour d'un axe parallèle à la ligne de coupe visée , ce qui permet d'effectuer des coupes obliques ou en onglet. Une telle scie est améliorée de sorte qu'au point mort supérieur du réglage de la profondeur de la coupe l'écartement entre les dents de scie inférieures (11) et la plaque de base (17) soit sensiblement supérieur à 3 mm, de préférence supérieur à 10 mm. Des ressorts (23) tendent à maintenir cet écartement. Cette scie circulaire manuelle (1) permet d'effectuer des coupes en plongée, de sorte que l'on peut renoncer de manière très avantageuse à utiliser les scies en plongée spécialisées pour ce genre de sciage.
