Description

Sport- und SpieügerätSports and game device

The invention relates to a sports and game device.

By the invention as it is characterized in claim 1, the object is achieved to create a device for physical exercise, in particular for strengthening the arm and upper body muscles, which can also be used for rehabilitation exercises and in particular in small groups. lighter version of the game device is suitable and simple and inexpensive to manufacture. In addition to the simplicity and the low manufacturing costs, the advantages achieved by the invention can essentially be seen in the following: The user can repeatedly exert the force to be repeatedly exerted for tensioning the traction means at any time during use, even while the force is being exerted , continuously adjust its performance. Only a low, lower limit must not fall below the force too long if the rotation of the swing body is to be maintained. When the device is used, the muscles are stretched and relaxed in a constant, relatively slow change, the movements being small when the traction means is not stretchable, but can also be greater with a stretchable traction means. Through the use of the device it is practiced to act differently (tension, relax) at a given time in a given rhythm. When playing, the device encourages the user to think about the cause of the torsional vibrations of the flywheel, and the simple and clear design of the device is an advantage. The device is quite suitable for demonstrating the principle of torsional vibrations, the constantly repeated transfer of energy from the rotating swing body to the twisted traction device and vice versa. It also has educational value. In this sense, the flywheel, in particular in the form of a circular disk, for example with three sectors in the basic colors red, yellow, blue, can be designed to show that the colored surface appears (almost) white during rotation. Analogously, other optical effects that require rapid movement could also be demonstrated. On the other hand, for use as a game device, the swinging body can be designed as a circular disk in such a way that with its rotation a tone after that with the known ones Music spinning principle applied. This also makes it easier to maintain the rhythm required to maintain the torsional vibrations. Overall, the invention creates a sports and play device which is characterized by simplicity, low manufacturing costs and versatility.

Embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

Es zeigen:The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of the accompanying drawings, which only show execution options. Show it:

Fig. 4 eine Variante eines Teiles von Fig. 1.4 shows a variant of a part of FIG. 1.

The dargeεtellte in Fig. 1 apparatus consists in its basic structure from a Schwungsc 'Heibe 1, ei¬ nem traction means 2 and two handles 3. The traction means 2 consists of two flexible strands 5, by equally spaced either side of center of the flywheel 1 these are guided through, expediently fixed and are connected at each end at a distance from one another to one of the handles 3. In this way, there is traction means 2 formed by the strands 5 non-rotatably connected to the flywheel 1 and to the handles 3, so that it can be twisted (rotated) when the handles 3 are held by turning the flywheel 1, the strands 5 being twisted together (twisted together). The strands 5 can be extruded from plastic or consist of stranded material, for example twine. They can be inextensible or elastically extensible.

In Fig. 1 und 4 sind die Stränge 5, aus denen das Zug¬ mittel 2 besteht, in einem stark übertreibenen Abstand gezeichnet, um ihre Verdrillung deutlich darzustellen.1 and 4, the strands 5 of which the traction means 2 are drawn are drawn at a greatly exaggerated distance in order to clearly show their twisting.

The mode of operation of the device is based on the inertia of the flywheel 1 in connection with the fact that the traction means 2, in the twisted state, strives to turn back when it is tensioned. When using the device, the traction means 1 is tensioned by pulling the handles away from one another and relaxed by reducing the distance between the handles so that the traction means runs loosely from one handle to the other.

If the traction device 1 rotates in one direction and is then alternately tensioned and relaxed in the rhythm subsequently specified, the flywheel 1 carries out torsional vibrations. First, the twisted traction means 2 is tensioned so that, in an attempt to twist back, the flywheel 1 drives so that it rotates with increasing speed. The Zugmit¬ tel 2 is rotated back. At the latest when the traction device 2 is no longer twisted, the traction device 2 is relaxed. The flywheel 1 has then reached its highest speed of rotation, and continues to rotate due to its inertia, whereby the traction center! 2 is rotated in the opposite direction. The speed of the flywheel 1 decreases. When the flywheel 1 has come to a standstill, the traction means 2, which is rotated in the opposite direction to the original direction, is now tensioned again. The flywheel then begins to rotate at increasing speed in the opposite direction to its previous rotation. The traction means 2 is first rotated back and then rotated in the original direction. At the latest when the twisting of the traction mechanism 2 changes its direction, the traction mechanism 2 not being twisted for a short time, the traction mechanism 2 is relaxed. The flywheel 1 then continues to rotate and rotates the traction mechanism 2 in the direction in which was originally twisted. When the flywheel comes to a standstill again, the traction means 2 is twisted again in the direction in which it was originally twisted. The initial state is thus reached again and the tensioning and unclamping of the traction means 2 can be repeated as often as desired in order to maintain the torsional vibrations of the flywheel 1.

The required twisting of the traction means 2 at the beginning of the process is already present when the previous use of the device has ended when the flywheel 1 has stopped. Otherwise, the flywheel must be rotated with the handles 3 held or both handles 3 must be rotated several times with the flywheel 1 held in the same direction.

Basically the same exercises can be carried out with the device as with the known expanders. However, the movements are - if the traction means is not is elastically stretchable - much smaller than when using the expander. This may be desirable for therapeutic purposes. If larger movements are to be used, the device must be designed with an elastically stretchable traction device.

The flywheel 1 expediently has a strongly rounded edge, for this it can according to FIG. 2 or, in order to achieve a greater moment of inertia with a given weight, with an edge bead, e.g. 6 in FIG. 3. The flywheel 1 can consist of two half shells, e.g. made of plastic.

Instead of a traction means, as assumed in the foregoing, which is guided through the flywheel 1, a traction means can be fastened at points of the flywheel 1 located opposite one another. The or each of the traction means can also be formed by a band instead of two strands.

The ends of the traction means facing away from the flywheel can also be designed to be gripped in another way instead of with handles, for example in which two rods forming the traction means form a loop into which one can reach, as shown in FIG. 4. A part of the loop to be gripped can be pulled through a piece of hose or pipe.

The end faces of the flywheel, as mentioned at the beginning, can produce optical effects when rotating the disc, e.g. different colored sectors or ring sectors or other geometrical figures, they are also suitable for advertising, e.g. for attaching a brand or a slogan. Since the device is inexpensive to manufacture, it is also suitable as a giveaway in this context. In the case of a design as a toy, the flywheel can be designed so that when it rotates it generates a tone according to the principle used in the known music spinning tops.
