DESIGN FOR A WOODEN BOX.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 28,642, dated May 17, 1898.
Application filed February 28, 1898- Serial No. 672,108. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WEBSTER C. ESTES, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, (Brooklyn,) in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced anew and original Design foraWooden Box, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is an elevation; Fig. 2, a plan, and Fig. 3 a vertical section with the cover elevated.
The general configuration of the box is round, and the leading features of my design consist in the cylindrical configuration of approximately the same height as width, with plain parallel sides, flat top and bottom, with pairs of similar annular beads of semicircular shape in cross-sections at the respective ends and at the upper end of the body.
The design of the cover A comprises the plain parallel sides a a, the flat top I), and the pair of similar semicircular annular beads c at the upper edges.
The design of the body B comprises the plain parallel sides (I (1, corresponding with the parallel sides a a of the cover, the flat bottom 6, and the pairs of similar semicircular annular beads fat the lower edge and 9 near the upper end of the body B.
The beads of the pairs 0, f, and g are similar and semicircular in cross-section and approximately agree in dimensions.
