DESIGN FOR A TURNED WOODEN BOX.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No; 32,119, dated January 23, 1900.
Application filed November 18, 1899. Serial No. 736,882. Term of patent 14 years.
To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that LWEBsTER O. ESTES, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, (Brooklyn,) in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for aTurned Wooden Box, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in Which- Figure 1 is an elevation; Fig. 2, a plan, and Fig. 3 a vertical section.
The general configuration of the box is round; and the leading features of my design consist in the cylindrical configuration with fiat top and bottom and parallel sides and with a large raised circular bead at the top edge and a large flat rib at the bottom edge and the pairs of small raised circular beads adjacent thereto.
The design of the cover comprises the plain parallel sides a a, the fiat top b, the large raised circular bead c at the edge or corner, and the pair of small raised circular heads (1 adjacent thereto.
The design of the body comprises the plain parallel sides e e, corresponding with the parallel sides a a of the cover, the flat bottomf, the large raised flat rib g at the edge or corner, having a surface parallel with the sides e e, and the pair of small raised circular beads h adjacent to the fiat rib g and which beads h are similar to the beads d of the cover.
What I claim is- The design for a turned wooden box, substantially as shown and described.
