Spmification forming part of Design No. l,fl36, dated September 30, 1579;

[Term of patent '7 years] To all whom 'it may concern 3e it known that T, AUGUsTUs FREY, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and originated a new and original Design fora Receptacle for Cigars, Cigarettes, and Tobacco, of which the following is a specification, reference being had (o the aceompa. nying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, in which- Figure 1 is a view showing the receptacle A. Fig. 2 is a view ofthe same when placed within a suitable framework. Fig. 3 isa transverse vertical section of' the same.

In the drawings like parts of the invention are designated by the same letters of reference.

The nature of my invention consists in a design for a receptacle for cigars, cigarettes, and tobacco, as more fully set forth.

1u the drawings, A is the receptacle for cigars, cigarettes, and tobacco. This recepta- `c1e A, usually formed oit' glass, has its lower side, B, formed fiat, a iiat mouth or opening at the tcp to allow access to thc receptacle, Iand its ends Dl and D2 made convex, as shown.

E is a suitable frame-work, within which the receptacle A is received, and F is a cover, placed over the opening in the upper side of the same.

Having now described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

A design for areceptacle, consisting of the dat bottom B, vertical sides FQ convex ends Dl D2, the sides and ends terminating ata horizontal mouth, as shown.
