Be it known that we, ALFRED H. Mom, DANIEL WINER, and LAWRENCE BRINK, of Lockport, in thecounty of Niagara, and State of New York, have invented a new and improved Roofing; and we do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same. i
The present invention relates to a new and improved compound to be used as a rooting or siding, or both, which compound is formed of the following ingredients, mixed together in about the proportions stated, viz: one-eighth of a pound of pulverized shell of shell-fish, one-quarter of a pound forge cinders, three-eighths of apound coal ashes and coal cinder-s, one-quarter to one-third (Q pound coal tar, one-quarter of a pound of moulclers sand from iron castings.
