Be it known that I, JESSE K. PARK, of the city and county `of New York and State of New York, have invented a new and Improved Point for Manifold lVriting; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description.

The nature of my invention consists in making` a spiral flexible point, of either steel, platinum, gold, or silver wire, or any other metal suitable for the purpose-said spiral to `icorm a cone having inside of it what I term a. check point.

.To enable others skilled in the art, to make and use my invention, I will proceed to describe its construction and operation.

I construct a handle of wood or any other suitable material as markedA A, in drawing' Figures l and 2, at the foot of which I affix a ferrule of ivory or metal as marked B B in Fig. l and shown in section Fig. 2.

I then form a cone of spiral wire of any metal suited tothe purpose, as shown C C in Figs. l and at the point of which cone, I leave a small piece ofwire. I go on to give it a slight bend; round the point., and

then spring 'temper it, as shown marked (e). rIhe `wood or material forming the handle A, runs down through `the ferrule B, as will be seen in sectional drawing Fig.

2. This ferrule is glued or cemented to for manifold writing, by combining with the conical spiral wire point, the check point (o) in the manner described and attaching' them to a handle for the purpose described.
