The members D and E are preferably similar in lengths to the lengths of the edges 13 and 14 of the surface section A. In the ends of the face portions 25 of the frame member D may be two notches, as 31, 31a, and in the ends of the face port-ion 25a of the frame members E may be two notches, as 32, 32a. Projecting in opposite directions from the ends of the edge part 26 of the frame member D may be two hook-shaped members, 33, 33a, and protruding in opposite directions from the ends of the edge part 26a of the frame member E may also be two hook-shaped members 34, 34a. On one face of the surface section A of the blank 10 may be printed or impressed a picture of other illustrated subject, as 35, and on the face portions 16, 16El and 25, 25a of the corresponding surface of the blank may also be printed or impressed appropriate advertisements or other subject matters, as 36.
When the display card is formed the blank 10 is folded on th'escorings 13, 14 and 28, 28a and the infold parts 24, 24a of the frame members D and E are then dis posed so that they overlap the surface section A on which is displayed the picture 35. The frame members D and E are folded on the scorings29, 29i and 30, 30a. The face portions 25, 25 are disposed on diverging inclines from the surface section A, and the edge parts 26, 26a of the frame members are disposed from the inclined face portions toward the surface section at rightangles relative to two of the opposite edges of the surface section. The hook- shaped members 33, 33a and 34, 34a are inserted in the notches 31` 31 and 32, 32a of the frame members D and E for releasably locking together the face portions 25, 25a to the edge parts 26, 26a of these frame members. The tonguesl 27, 27 a are then folded inwardly upon the infold parts 24, 24a' which overlap the surface section A. The blank is afterward folded on the scorings 11, 12 and 19, 19a, and the infold parts 15, 15a of the frame members B and C are disposed so that they overlap the surface section A'on which is shown the picture 35. The frame members Band C are Y folded on the scorings 20, 2Oa and 21, 21a.
The face portions 16, 16 are then disposed on diverglng inclines from the surface section A, so that the ends of the face port-ions 16, 16a overlap the ends of the face portions 25, 25a of the folded frame members D and E. The edge parts 17,17a of the frame members D and E are disposed from the inclined face portions 16, 16a toward the surface section at rightangles relative to the second opposite edges of the surface section. The tongues 18, 18a are then folded inwardly to lap upon the infold parts 15, 15a that overlap the surface section,"and ythe inner edges of these infold parts 15, 15a may then Vbe adhesively secured by glue, as indicated parting from the principle'` or sacrificing any vof the advantagesf'of this invention, therefore, I reserveto myselfy thel right to make such changes as fairly fall within the scope thereof.
I-Iaving thus described my invention, Ii'
claim as new Patent 1. A framed display card cut and folded from a single blank, comprising a substankand desire wto secure by Letters tially rectangular surface'section having onv its edge parts overlapping frame members, all with corresponding faces disposed ondiverging inclines fromA one face yof the surface section,'and all theframe'members having edge parts dispose-d from the inclinedT faces to the surface section right'angularly thereto, two of the opposite frame members having the ends of their faces and edge parts releasably locked togetherand the second two opposite frame surface section, y Y
2. A framed display card cut and folded from a single blank, comprising a substantially rectangular surface section having on Aits edge parts overlapping frame members,
all with corresponding facesl disposed on diverging inclinesfrom one face of the surface section and all the frame members having edge parts disposed from the outermost edges of theinclined faces to thesurface section rightangularly thereto, two of the opposite frame members having the ends of their faces and edge parts releasably locked together and' the end portions of the second two opposite 4frame members' overlapping the locked ends of the other frame members.
3. A framed display card cut and folded from a single blank, comprising a substantially rectangular surface section having on its edge parts overlapping frame members,"
all with corresponding faces disposed on diverging inclines from one face of the surface section and all of the frame members having edge parts disposed from the outermost edges of the inclined f faces to the surface members secured to the section rightangularly thereto, nteriitting members releasably locking together the ends oi each of two of the opposite frame members overlapping the locked ends of the `other frame members, said pair of overlapping frame members adhesively secured to the surface section.
