Abstract
The method for diagnosing failure of union in fracture comprises the clinical examination, X-ray imaging, and the assessment of the content of C-terminal propeptide of collagen type I (CICP) in blood serum. The CICP level less than 102 ng/mL within the physiological time of union is suggestive of the failure of union in fracture.
