Abstract
The process for the preparation of double potassium-titanium (IV) oxoorthophosphate in solid monocrystal state of general formula of KTiOPOcomprises the use of melt of mechanical mixture of polycrystalline substances. The mechanical mixture of KPOand KPOis ground in agate mortar, poured to porcelain crucible of 100 ml volume, homogenized for 1-2 hours at temperature of 850 °C. The obtained melt is saturated, TiOis added (8 weight %), hold for 2 hours at temperature of 900 °C and crystallized in interval of 900-700 °C for 24 hours. The obtained needle-shaped crystals are washed with water and dried at room temperature.
