Abstract

A process for the preparation of double sodium-chromium (III) fluorideorthophosphate in solid polycrystalline state of general formula of NaCrPOF comprises the use of melt of mechanical mixture of polycrystalline substances. The mechanical mixture of NaPOand (NH)HPOis ground in agate mortar, poured to platinum crucible (porcelain crucible) of volume of 100 ml and homogenized for one hour at temperature of 800 °C, NaF (20 weight %) is added, hold for 1 hour at temperature of 850 °C, CrO(13-15 weight %) is introduced, homogenized at 900 °C for 2 hours and crystallized at interval of 900-700 °C for 24 hours. The produced crystals are washed and dried at room temperature.
