Abstract
A process for the preparation of double potassium-titanium (IV) polyphosphate in solid monocrystal state of general formula of KTiPOcomprises the use of melt of mechanical mixture of polycrystalline substances. Mechanical mixture of KPOand (NH)HPOis ground in agate mortar, poured into platinum crucible (porcelain crucible) of 100 ml volume and homogenized for 1-2 hours at temperature of 900 °C, the obtained melt is saturated - TiOis added (12 weight %) and hold at temperature of 950 °C for 2 hours and crystallized in interval of 950-700 °C for 24 hours, the obtained crystals are washed, dried at room temperature.
